Offered for sale is a faithfully reproduced metal hood part for a Hot Wheels redline Custom Cougar. The photo shows the reproduction part sitting next to an original HK Custom Cougar for comparison. The part is an exact replica of the Hong Kong (HK) version. See my other auction for US version.
Please be aware that the hood hinge pins are delicate and can break if forced into a tight clip. It is advisable to first coat the pins with Vaseline to make them non-stick. Then file/open the clip sufficiently to allow the pin to be inserted without applying pressure. Next close the clip with a small amount of super glue or epoxy while ensuring the hinge still operates properly. Users may need to perform careful filing adjustments to ensure precise hood fitting and operation. HAND POLISH ONLY. Use of a power tool will cause damage.
