LSMIITTH Professional Propane Melting Furnace with Fundry Casting Tools

Gas Metal Melting Furnace is used to melt copper, brass,gold, silver,aluminum, zinc, tin and other metals with melting points below 1300 ° C(2372 ° F).  Suitable for most fuels, liquefied gas,LPG,  propane, etc. But it can not melt steel, iron.

Our special advantage:

2.Propane melting furnace with daul forge burners, can output 100,000 BTU. Compared with the single burner furnace, the flame is evenly distributed on both sides. Fast melting can save 50% of the time and 20% of the gas cost. Bell burner head which is connected through threads, easy to replace.You also can use only one burner by shut off the valve ,and block one hole on furnace body with ceramic wool.

3. The melting furnace kits includes gas hose and regulator(Input QCC type, Output 5/8") which can hook up to American standard Propane Tank directly. The maximum output can reach 30PSI (CSA). (Be Attention: It does not work with BBQ low pressure gas tank fitting. Natural gas in your home system is low pressure and a forge requires high pressure gas to reach temperatures).

2. Dual gas burners are made of stainless steel,each burner is around 100,000 BTU ,fast melting can save 50% time and 20% gas cost ;

3. Furnace Outside Dimensions : 12" diameter x 15" height (30cm x 37cm);

4. Furnace Inner Dimensions: 8" diameter x 10"Height (20cm x 24cm);

5. Adjustable high pressure gas regulator with gauge from 0--30 psi , 5 ft (1.5m) long hose,USA certificated;

6.Two crucibles:

      16 kg Crucible can load 16 kg brass or 4.8 kg aluminum or 19 kg silver;

6 kg Crucible can load 6 kg brass or 1.8 kg aluminum or 7 kg silver ;

7. Graphite casting Mold: 113 ML capacity, size is 125*60*40 mm, can melt 2 kg gold, 1.2 kg silver, 1kg copper.

8.One carbon graphite mixing stirring rods : 8X300mm long ;Carbon rods are used to stir precious metals, scrap while melting. Graphite rod is also used to remove any impurities on the surface of the molten metal.

9. Furnace body and lid are fully lined with 2 inch of ceramic fiber insulation.  Furnace floor lined with 3 inch of ceramic insulation and firebrick .You only need a propane gas bottle/tank ( like 20,30 or 50 LB ).

Kind remind:

1.  Do not use it to melt iron, that will shorten the life of the furnace.

2.  Graphite crucible is consumable, you can change a new one according to your requirement.

3.  Use safety goggles, mask as well as gloves while casting metals.

4.  The ceramic insulation blanket  is not asbestos .  Asbestos  has been forbidden many years ago.
