A stoneware Otagiri Japanese tea set including a lidded teapot with bamboo handles and six teacups, each hand-painted in a stylized persimmon design. Original stickers, OMC Japan (Otagiri Mercantile Company, Inc.). The tea pot is with 4 3/4 inches tall with the lid in place and is 7 inches long. The cups are 3 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or crazing.
