Offered for sale is this charming selection of Royal Copenhagen Annual Christmas Plates issued from 1952 to 2008.

The first Royal Copenhagen Annual Christmas Plate was launched in 1908. Each plate tells the story of Danish culture and heritage, decorated in blue with a different festive scene or image. The plates are marked “Jul” or “Julen” which is Danish for Christmas, with the appropriate year.

 

The plates are approx. 7 to 7.25 inches diameter, and are offered for sale in very good condition with no chips or cracks, unless stated otherwise below.

 

They are all fully marked on the base with the Royal Copenhagen factory logo, a crown and three wavy lines.
