In den 90er Jahren schuf die Firma Cullmann, sonst bekannt für gute aber preiswerte Stative aus deutscher Fertigung, das legendäre TITAN-System. Und katapultierte sich selbst damit auf ein ganz neues Qualitätsniveau. Die Stative und Komponenten dieser durchdachten Serie brachten Cullmann auf Augenhöhe mit den besten Herstellern hochwertiger Stative. Perfekte massive Qualität und Stabilität, wasserdichte untere Beinsegmente, Austausch aller Bestandteile mittels einfachen Inbusschlüssels, höchstwertige Kugelköpfe und Neiger, Belastbarkeiten je nach Teil bis zu 40kg und mehr, ein durchdachtes Makro-Zubehörsystem, abschliessbare Schnellkupplungen, besonders sicher sitzende abdreh-gesicherte Köpfe durch ein eigenes Verzahnungs- und Verschluss-System. Auch besonders diebstahlsicher, denn eben mal schnell die Kamera runternehmen und wegrennen ging nicht; der potentielle Dieb hätte das komplette Stativ mit stehlen müssen. Natürlich konnten diese Stative weder billig sein, noch waren sie leicht, dafür boten sie perfekte Stabilität und Vielseitigkeit für ernsthafte Fotografen und Filmer.

In the 90ies the manufacturer Cullmann, well-known for good quality and relatively economic amateur tripods of german manufacture, created the TITAN system. And broght themselves to a completely new level of quality, eye to eye with the best manufacturers of professional tripods. Extremely stable and massive products, a large sophisticated accessory and head system for any photographic purpose, waterproof lower leg segments, lockable plates, an own system of securing the tripod head, fast handling and many other details gave an impressive show-off of Cullmanns hidden tripod developping and manufacturing skills.

You want still to have your valuable camera, even if you took off the tripod your eyes for 5 seconds ? Then the integrated lock will be very helpfull...possible thiefs can not simply click-off the quick plate, but have at least got to unscrew the whole head.
See quality and comparison of the quick-mount plate: At it's right you see a standard plate by Manfrxx and then an amateur plate by Cullmann. At it's left you see an Arxx-Swxx compatible plate.
