The medals were  issued by the Ealing Manor Road Club 

The medals were awarded for bicycle racing.

One is hallmarked silver with a gold plated shield .

Engraved , on the reverse ,is the inscription ;  ' INTER-CLUB '25'  21/6/44 1st TEAM '.

This medal is just under 48 mm high and weighs over 17 grams.

The silver hallmark is Birmingham for the year 1943.

'C.E.S. ' is the maker's stamp.

The other medal is not hallmarked so it is probably silver and gold plated..

Engraved on the golden shield is the inscription ; ' R.E.BATES 1.12.41 '.

Around the silvered surround is the inscription ;  ' FASTEST TEAM EALING MANOR  R.C. '.

The reverse is blank.

This medal is 37mm high and weighs  21 grams.

 These shielded medals are typically art deco style of its time

The medals are in a used but good condition with no real damge.

Ealing Manor is now known as Pitzhanger Manor Ealing

I can find no reference to this cycling club so I suspect these medals are very rare.
