The Shinko STD-135F is an easy-to-use compact electric water-cooled sharpener equipped with an adjustable rotation dial (300–600 min⁻¹). The included blade guide ensures consistent sharpening angles, while water cooling prevents blade overheating and temper loss.
Comes pre-installed with a medium #1,000 grit whetstone (135 mm diameter). Compatible with separately sold coarse/fine stones for complete blade restoration. While the official printed manual is in Japanese, an English translation is included with your order!
This machine operates on Japan 100V AC power. To use it overseas (such as 120V in North America or 220–240V in Europe/Australia), a motorized step-down transformer rated at 500W or higher (e.g., UMI 500W converter) is required.
