Very beautiful, wonderfully handmade tea for two tea set.  I tried for hours to find more identical so that I better know what I have but I didn't luck out.  You see my guesses in the Title for the Ad.  If you know who to attribute this set to please let me know.

The two tones, mottled patterns, with the darker colors outside and the amazing gold inside make this a stunning set.  I saw some people calling this a "Married Couple Set".

I tried to learn how these were made so exquisitely and found this description on the internet that might be the process (I am no expert, please do your own research if it's important!

Somenishiki Golden is a unique technique of Fujii Kinsai, which is painted with
Gold on white porcelain fired at 1300 degrees C and then baked at 800 degrees C.
Each color of paint is fired once, then 6 to 10 times, and finally the gold is
fired. The gold baked on the front expresses subtle shading on the surface.
The luster of the gold changes depending on the angle at which the light hits it
and the angle from which it is viewed.

Arita ware is porcelain produced in and around Arita-cho, Saga Prefecture Japan.
During the Edo period, porcelain fired in Arita was exported from the port of
Imari, so it spread under the name of Imari ware. After that, after the Meiji
period, porcelain made in Arita came to be called Arita ware after the name of the
place of production.

Ko-Imari, which means old Imari, is a type of Arita porcelain made in the
Edo period. Right now, Imari ware is made in Okawachiyama, Imari City, where there
used to be a kiln for baking the pottery presented by the Han (feudal clan).
