Lovely pair of silver sugar tongs, made in 1796 in London by silversmith George Gray, who was a close colleague of Peter & Ann Bateman.  These have banded decoration.
Dimensions: approx 13.5cm long and 3.5cm between the arms.
These tongs are in very good condition, they have been very well cared for over 128 years.
Great addition to a silver collection, or for someone who appreciates the finer things in life.
