This is the RCS TZ45R model, originally installed and used with an ADT Pulse system.
The unit is labeled TZ45R on the front and was used with ADT Pulse. You may see TZ45 stamped on the backplate and TZ45A on the internal cover; these are manufacturing labels for the base hardware. I used this for years and can confirm it is a whole-degree unit (no decimal increments). Please verify compatibility with your system before buying; requires a C-wire
Model Clarification: While the plastic backplate is stamped "TZ45" (the base hardware series), this is the specific "R" variant used by ADT.
Temperature Display: This unit operates in whole degrees only (it does not support decimal/half-degree increments).
Compatibility: This is a Z-Wave device. It is known to work with ADT Pulse, Samsung SmartThings, Hubitat, and Home Assistant.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please verify that this thermostat is compatible with your specific HVAC system and smart home hub before purchasing. It requires a C-Wire (Common Wire) for power.
