This is a Chinese Yixing Teapot w its original box. To me, the color of teapot seems to be a dark matte brown. The teapot is in excellent condition w very minor to no blemishes or scuffing (mainly visible on bottom of teapot). The handmade original box has visible wear, blemishes, dirt, discoloration, fraying, ect. (as pictured). This is a beautiful teapot!
