This Czech import quadraphonic double album boxed set from Supraphon (4 12 1651/2) features a complete performance of Arthur Honegger's
Jeanne d'Arc au bûcher, recorded over seven days in mid to late October 1974 in Prague.
Speaking roles are performed by Nelly Borgeaud, Michel Favory, René Brun, François Loup, Annie Gaillard, Tony Jacquot and Anne-Marie Rodde. Singing roles are performed by Christiane Chateau, Anne-Marie Rodde, Huguette Brachet, Pedro Proenza, Zdeněk Jankovský, François Loup and Lenka Loubalová.
These works are performed by the Czech Philharmonic Chorus (directed by Josef Veselka), the Kühn Children's Chorus (directed by Jiří Chvála) and the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra (conducted by Serge Baudo). Album notes are in French, English and German, contained in a fairly massive (album-sized) 38-page book.
There is a small collection index sticker on the upper-right corner of the back, as well as an Italian import stamp.
