Description
This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver nutmeg grater has a rectangular rounded form.
The exterior surface of the silver box is embellished with a semi-circular domed grating grille.
The box is fitted with a plain hallmarked semi-circular cover; allowing grater"s contents.
This exceptiopnal antique nutmeg grater is fitted with a reed decorated handpiece, extending to form a border to either side of the grille; this handpiece would allow for the piece to be suspended in the kitchen.
ConditionThis antique nutmeg grater is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the interior of the body and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear.
