Scotia beading sits on the edge of your laminate to give you a neat, professional appearance.

Laminate will expand in warm weather and contract in cold weather, so it is usually laid with an expansion gap to prevent it from damaging itself. The beading fits over this expansion gap giving your laminate a continuous look with no visible gap.

This scotia beading comes in 2.4m lengths with an approximate 18mm thickness. Unlike other retailers, our MDF wrapped scotia is a superior product to the common 9mm and 15mm scotia.

Can be cut down to size, or used with each other to edge longer sides.
