This ornate gold metal desk unit has no stains or breakage but after the 1st few photos the letter rack came off as the screws came out.  Some of the screws in this piece are not original and they were too short for me to reattach the panel.  If you buy this piece you will need to find screws to replace it.  They also didn't align well with the holes.  This piece measures 11 1/2" wide x 9 3/4" and stands 5 1/2" tall. It weighs over 5 pounds and is made of brass.  It has a pen tray, 2 ink wells and a letter/paper holder.  I could find no maker's markings on this piece.  It is decorated with fancy urns, leaves and bird heads.
