This badge is from the the real Communist era and depicts a portrait of Chairman Mau.

The large ( 48 mm diameter) enamelled  aluminium badge  is in an excellent condition.

It looks almost new and certainly has never been worn.

Chinese characters are embossed on the reverse.

Interesting and impressive badge from a certain period in Chinese history.
