You are purchasing a beautiful antique sterling silver ice cream or pastry type serving slice in the ornate Mazarin pattern by Dominick & Haff circa 1892. You can see the hallmarks in the pictures and it also has a HYMAN BERG & CO retailer mark and it is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs and it has a nice warm lightly tarnished patina and there is a period script D monogram on top of the handle and it is engraved 1893 on the back of the handle. The pattern detail is crisp with superb depth and the blade is in great shape with a gold gilt finish or wash as seen in the pictures and it it is sturdy and rigid and does not bend easily. It measures 10 1/4" long by 1 5/8" wide and it is made of heavy gauge silver weighting 118.2 grams or 3.8 troy ounces.
