The citizenry of Germany was called up to defend their country against
the Allies as the Russians closed in from the east and the Americans,
British and French came at them from the west. Untrained and
under-equipped, without uniforms, sufficient weapons or ammunition,
these last-ditch fighters were no match for the trained veterans they
faced. Surprisingly, many of these units were highly motivated and
fought on despite high casualties and under the worst conditions. Theirs
was a completely political organization, not related to the German
army, but organized by the Nazi Party.
There is variation from set to set so the contents of one may be different from another. You will generally receive two each of 7 poses and one of the 8th pose.
