This cover is made for the Florip Tool Works 9" Dovetail saw. I spend hours going through pile of hides to find Hide's of the quality that went into this batch of Florip saw covers. Our Saw covers are Hand stitched with Ritza .8m Tiger thread, Known for its strength and durability, this thread is the preferred choice of professional leatherworkers. We only use hand stitching on our tool items as it's superior to the strength a sewing machine can provide. The Sheath's are Infused with Atom wax and hand rubbed with Tan-Kote finish. Once the edges are burnished we finish them with Bee's wax. Then each sheath is treated on the inside and broken in with a corresponding saw. In addition to being hand stitched, we also use brass hardware to ensure a lifetime of use. The Florip Tool Works saws are the saws of choice in our shop.
