  • Preparation before the test: 

    1. First connect the instrument with the signal box, and then put the signal box in the relatively flat part of the tested vehicle, the direction indicated by the driving direction arrow on the signal box panel is the driving direction of the vehicle. 

    2. turn on the calibration switch and then turn on the power on-off key. 

    3. lcd screen displays the marked value. if it is not 0, adjust the signal box, make the calibration value 0 (make the small box in the horizontal position), then turn off the calibration switch according to the screen prompt or press the reset key to return.

    4. connect the plug of the foot switch to the instrument, and fix the foot switch to the foot brake to step on.


  • The testing process

    1. turn on the power of the instrument, and the words "handheld brake instrument" will be displayed one second later, indicating that the self-inspection has passed.  after two seconds, "please enter the license plate and date" is displayed ".

    2.  press the "confirm" and "modify" keys to enter the license plate number and detection date as needed (the storage key has the function of retreating.  if the input is wrong, press the repair storage key to return to the new input).  this instrument has memory function.  the license plate number and detection date set this time will still be displayed after the next startup, which can be modified according to needs.

    3.  after setting the date, the instrument will display the words "please set the initial speed before measurement".  at this time, press the "initial speed/modify" button to set the initial speed.  through this key, the initial speed can be set to 20 km/h, 30 km/h and 50 km/h, and the initial speed setting can refer to table 3.

    4.  accelerate the tested vehicle to the initial speed value according to the set initial speed.  when it is stable, step on the foot brake and close the foot switch.  at this time, the screen shows: under test....  wait ten seconds for the screen to display the results.  

    5.  if the data meets the requirements, the test is completed!  press the display key to browse the results.  indicates that data collection is completed.  if the data does not meet the requirements, or the instrument is disturbed during the test, the system will conduct intelligent judgment to stop the test, and the screen shows: the test failed!  press the reset key to retest.  when you want to test the next car or time trail, press the "reset" key and repeat the above steps.
