British wool hose tops blue yellow and olive green pair  M6025

These may be WWII socks. Since they did not date the socks but at the end of the war. Many of the items in the UK were repackaged and stored for future use. These were repackaged in 1951. and sold off with all the WWII surplus so it is very possible that they are WWII or just after WWII.

sold in pairs( meaning 2 pieces )

repackage dates say 1951 but the item is undated.

condition ; Socks are new unissued condition.

Measuring approximately 20 inches long x 2 3/4 inches long as found in the boxes. When stretched the top will stretch to 14 inches across max ( blue part) and the bottom (the green part) will stretch to approximately 13 3/4 inches.

washing instructions: Do not wash in the machine these are woven wool and it will ruin them quickly. If possible I would suggest to just hand wash them in the sink with cold water and mild detergent. If you want them to stretch and help the wool to stretch a bit soak them in fabric softener and a little warm water. never use hot water on wool it will shrink the wool. do not put in the dryer. Otherwise wool is great because it keeps you warm when you are wet or dry
