David Burnie is a zoology graduate and fellow of the Zoological Society of London. Having started out as a nature-preserve ranger and biologist, he has since forged a successful career as a writer and consultant specializing in wildlife and plants.
Condition: Decorative hardbound boards are illustrated on the front board with photos from the book and the rear board has photographs of the other books in the series. The boards show no wear along the top, bottom or spine and all corners are sharp with no bumping or damage. The spine and hinges are firmly attached, straight with no slanting and no cracking to the decorative endpapers illustrated with flying birds on a gray background. Text block is firmly attached with all pages intact. Interior pages are in very good condition with no tears, chips, cracks or previous owner marks. 64 pages including index. Dimensions: H – 11-1/4” W – 8-3/4”
On the top of the first and last white page has some slight yellowing but the rest of book in awesome shape.
