This is a unique copy of Soviet Dawn by Victory Point Games.  The copyright of the original game is 2009 and it was release #1 in the States of Siege game series from VPG.  Darin A. Leviloff designed the game that is a solitaire simulation of the Russian Civil War in 1918 to 1921 and is highly regarded.  Game parts are one 11 inch by 17 inch color game map, 16 5/8 inch sized color game pieces, 12 ¾ inch sized color game pieces, 48 Headlines cards, and an 8-page color illustrated game rules, examples of play, and designer’s notes booklet.  The game is packaged in the original plastic zip seal bag as issued from VPG.  Oh yes, this copy has the expansion set of rules and 16 additional play cards that add to the basic game.  The game is long out of production and difficult to find.  Original MSRP in 2009 was $27.95.  Now for the unique stuff… this copy has further design work by David Kennedy for a new and expanded version called, “The Bolshevik Edition” of the game.  Included are several printouts or proposed rules enhancements and modifications to the game with handwritten information.  Additional parts include many, many larger and more professionally printed cards for the game; some with handwritten notes for the proposed design.  Several packs are still held by paper wrappers (think monetary banknote bundles).  The basic game, the expansion set, and the only and unique further design work copy packaged in a blank VPG box with handwritten, “Bolshevik Copy” on the top.  The only copy of this ever.
