Marked "Bayanahan 925" this brooch / pin weighs 8 grams and was designed and hand crafted by renowned Modernist, W. Thomas Burns, founder of Bayanihan Jewelry. Founded in 1974 and based in Massachusetts, Burns had worked for the Peace Corps in the Phillipines, and named his company "Bayanihan", which translates as, working together.
