Historical Nazi document giving an award to Gefreiten Friedrich Wellershausen on 15 Aug 1943.   Signed in fountain pen ink by Johann-Heinrich Eckhardt. Nazi stamp on the lower portion. Folding creases, a small tear on the lower portion, 3-hole punch along the left border.  In fair condition. 

(1896-1945) Johann-Heinrich Eckhardt was a German general in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves of Nazi Germany. Eckhardt surrendered to the American troops on 8 May 1945 and died in custody on 15 May 1945.
