This is a magnificente French 19th Century Gilt Bronze Jewelry Box with Hand Painted Miniature painting of Marie Antoinette with key, ca 1880. Finely hand-painted miniature painting featuring the young Queen of France with elegant black hat signed at the bottom by the artist Millard. Lid decorated with MOP opens to reveal a floral interior. Excellent condition for age. Measures 13 cm square by 7,5 cm high.
