Dogu, a Cosmos


INTRODUCTION:

The book was published on the occasion of the exhibition "Dogu, a Cosmos" held at Miho Museum in 2012.


In prehistoric times, small figures in the shape of humans were produced in many parts of the world, but more clay figurines were made in Japan during the Jomon period than in any other region of the world. To date, more than 18,000 clay figurines have been excavated by Japanese archaeologists.

The exhibition featured a selection of clay figurines excavated from archaeological sites throughout Japan. This catalog includes approximately 320 pieces of clay figurines and earthenware, including three Japanese National Treasures and 21 Important Cultural Properties that were on display.

RETURN:

If you are not satisfied with the item received, you can return it (only 30days). In this case, we can only refund you back the purchase price and original shipping. Return shipping fee will be paid by buyer. All returned items must be in its original condition. If you cannot agree with our policy, you'd better not bid. If you find something wrong with the item, please contact us at first. We will do our best to solve the problem with you.
