Function:
- The Single Cylinder option is a common option for residential use. It comes with a deadbolt on the exterior and a thumb turn lock on the interior.
- The Double Cylinder option features a keyway on the exterior, as well as on the interior. It requires a key for locking and unlocking on both sides, and is designed to offer high security level.
- The Dummy option functions as a 'fake' entry set, with no latch or lock at all. It's commonly used in places where a latch mechanism is not needed, but the look of a door knob is desired.
Backset: The backset is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of of the 2-1/8" borehole. The two common backsets for residential locks is 2-3/8” or 2-3/4" backset (select from the dropdown options above).
