J scale refers to the 1:80 16.5mm gauge model railroad standard, often treated in Japan as the same as HO scale, but recently named J scale.

Some parts, such as handrails, couplers, and lights, need to be installed.

The Deki 3 electric locomotive was built in 1922 by the German company Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft (AEG).

The actual locomotive was a very small  locomotive, only 4.5 meters long.

After this locomotive was imported from Germany, it was operated by Ube Electric Railway in Yamaguchi, Japan until 1941, when it was transferred to Choshi Electric Railway.

In the early days when Deki 3 electric locomotives were transferred from Ube Electric Railway in Yamaguchi to Choshi Electric Railway in Chiba in 1941, the pantograph was a trolley pole type.

In 2012, when the 90th anniversary of the Deki 3 electric locomotive was celebrated, the pantograph was converted from the bow collector type to the trolley pole type used in the early days of the transfer.
