The surface of this George V salver is plain and unembellished.

The impressive rounded border is embellished with pierced vertical pale ornamentation flanked with bands of semi-circular designs.

This decorative border is embellished with impressive applied reed decoration to the rim.

The salver is supported by four impressive bracket style feet embellished with further pierced and applied ornamentation reflecting that of the border.

This salver is a large example of its type and crafted in a highly desirable style.
