Hi! You're looking at a very good condition book which is a work of natural philosophy examining the concept of metacognition written by TYLER VOLK--the book is a SOFTCOVER copy (NOT a hardcover as the ISBN information incorrectly states). This book is in very good condition and has several light creases and a number of slight thumb creases on the front cover, very slight wrinkling on the first pages of the book, a slight forward list of the spine end, a couple of slight creases on the lower left tip of the back cover and a small ding on the upper left portion of the back cover, a tiny crease on the lower right tip of the first page and just light shelfwear and light browsing wear otherwise but no other significant flaws. The book is titled Metapatterns: Across Space, Time, and Mind and it was written by TYLER VOLK; it was published by Columbia University Press in 1995 and is a 2nd Printing with a publication line reading 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2.
In the interdisciplinary tradition of Buckminster Fuller's work and Fritjof Capra's The Tao of Physics, this study embraces both nature and culture, seeking out the grand-scale patterns that help to explain the functioning of our universe.
A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this book!
