Castor Cooper Vintage MCM Pewter HORSE Sculpture on Lucite Base Brutalist Art.

Fantastic vintage Castor Cooper horse sculpture. The duo of Castor & Cooper created interesting and unique artistic masterpieces in pewter. An unlikely medium for what could be called fine art. The pewter horse sits atop a lucite block. It jade a very MCM look bordering on classical and brutalist at the same time to my eye. Approximately 7.25”x4”, no condition issues to report. There were only 1,000 of this sculpture ever cast. This example is #139/1000. Part of a large California collection of Castor Cooper pieces that I purchased at auction. Their work was highly regarded in its day, there was even some in the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis collection. Wooden pedestal not included but can be purchased separately. Shipping is ASAP! Thanks
