ANRI's sixth album, released in 1983 and one of the defining records of Japanese city pop. It opens with CAT'S EYE — the theme to the anime of the same name and a number-one single — and contains I Can't Stop The Loneliness, still one of the most covered ballads in Japanese pop. Arranged and largely written with Toshiki Kadomatsu, its blend of AOR guitar, Fender Rhodes and summer-resort atmosphere is exactly the sound that drove the worldwide city pop revival.
This is the 2011 Japanese reissue on For Life Music Entertainment (FLCF-5038): a Blu-spec CD in a miniature LP paper sleeve reproducing the original vinyl artwork, with the Japanese OBI strip. It adds Remember Summer Days as a bonus track. Blu-spec CD is a high-quality CD format made with Blu-ray Disc production technology and plays in any ordinary CD player. Brand new and still factory sealed.
