The Perm-Lok permanently engages the Central Axle Disconnect (CAD) system and couples both front axles permanently. Once installed, the front axles will not pull until the transfer case in engaged.

1984 - 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ (Will not fit with 2.1L Diesel)
1986 - 1992 Jeep Comanche MJ
1987 - 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ

Vacuum Actuator Problems
The colder the temperature, the longer it will take to engage.
If the front differential becomes submerged, the TLA temperature will cool and the 4-wheel drive will disengage.
The TLA unit can cause excessive wear on internal components in the differential and may cause other electrical problems.
