Antique Coalport By John Rose Pattern No.110 Teapot c.1810-1815.

This is a very old teapot. The main thing is that the lid doesn't sit exactly in the pot correctly so may need to be sanded a tiny bit smaller. It is not clear if this is a design flaw or a result of a lot of past use. There are some firing cracks on top of the lid, the handle and the rim of the plate. There is a hairline crack underneath the handle visible on either side, and a small chip to the lower rim of the pot. There is some crazing to the glaze and fading to the gilding present.
