Our primer recommendation:

We offer epoxy primer in our eBay shop. This creates rust protection and a filler structure at the same time. As a rule, these primers or fillers are gray. But that doesn't always fit. For example, you should use a white filler for red top coats so that the red tone gets a higher brilliance. Likewise, light-colored basecoats or varnishes with a high percentage of pearls often have low opacity. A pre-coat or the epoxy filler in the subsequent color is required there. Likewise, almost every new car is already pretreated on the line with a colored filler, which is cheaper even with small impacts, since the lower layer in the upper layer of paint is the same color. Likewise, a filler in the body color reduces the amount of top coat required because it covers faster.

Our covering recommendation:

If partial painting is required, we recommend that you purchase a paint-adhering paint protection hood that is available in the eBayshop. This wafer-thin hood resembling a folding garage is pulled over the vehicle and the section to be painted is cut out and taped. The entire vehicle is quickly covered and protected from spray mist.

Painting of plastics:

Plastics that have already been painted can easily be painted after roughening. If the existing paint layer has been sanded off or the plastic is raw, a bonding agent must be sprayed. If the plastic is exposed to vibrations, the paint can crack. In this case 20-30% plasticizer can be added to the last layer of lacquer. In our eBay shop we offer you high quality products that guarantee you a good result with professional execution of the work.

For paintwork:

Blending is also known as "spot repair". Prime the area to be painted and fillers. Adjacent clearcoat areas are also sanded. Paint the basecoat in thin layers from the inside out so that the paint mist does not settle on the surface. Only apply basecoat from the outside to the inside during the last spray coat. Now the clear coat is sprayed over the painted area. Then add 50% thinner to the clear coat and spray the transition area. Finally, again spray pure thinning over the entire area and the transition.

Plain paints in matt:

All uni-lacquers (single-layer 2-component lacquers) are high-gloss. These are usually mixed 2: 1 with hardener + 15% thinner. You can also get all of these 2K plain paints here in MATT. This new trend usually has to be mixed 4: 1 with hardener + 50% thinner. The price usually stays the same.
