Wild Sky Gear 45L DCF roll top pack liner 

The more lines of defence against the Scottish weather the better… Your packs guard dog against the elements, extremely light, dyneema tough and more than 10X more waterproof than some silnylon liners, my pack liner rules them all. The 3.0 extra stiff roll top seals like no others can and the use of 1oz DCF with a 200XT dark dyneema content makes this over 20KHH waterproof, repairable as well as tough. It also boasts taped seams, and did I mention dyneema is the world’s strongest fibre?

45L is one size fits all and is the *actual volume*, not the “designed to fit packs of this size” measure. The main sack in your “50L” rucksack is probably much lower than 50L, the 50L measure will include all the mesh pockets, and the brain too. Safe to say basically every hiking rucksack is covered by this size, including my 58L osprey exos.

Waterproof- in the context of normal use this is very highly water resistant. The DCF is waterproof (HH20K+), it has taped seams and a roll top construction, but it is not submersion proof. Like all manufacturers I would advise protecting moisture sensitive items with a zip lock bag. Unsuitable for water sports

Wild Sky Gear was started by Skye McGregor, a British 15 year old who hiked Lands’ End to John O'Groats solo. I hiked through the winter and to keep my pack light started making my own gear and then sold some of the surplus. This turned out to be a bit more successful than I had anticipated, and now I’m constantly sewing.
