Ceramic biscuit switches switch signaling and control circuits with voltage up to 350 V, current up to 3 A and switching power up to 70 W.
The switch lock secures the positions and limits the movement of the moving part of the switch. The shift stop pin is inserted into the hole, thereby determining the number of positions. For example, a latch in switches: 2 positions (2P) - installed in the first hole; 7 positions (7P) - installed in the sixth hole; 11 positions (11P) - folds back. The number of positions may be more or less depending on the number of holes in the retainer and the location of the pin. Each cookie consists of a moving part - a rotator and a fixed part - a stator. Switching plates with ledges are fixed on the rotator. 12 petals are fixed on the stator in a circle every 30 degrees. The long lobes are in constant contact with the shift plate, while the short lobes are in contact when shifting.
