Description/Synopsis:
Before Mickey there was Oswald, the floppy-eared star of Walt Disney's first cartoon series, "The Adventures of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit". Fun and mischievous, the cheerful rabbit's popularity quickly multiplied, and so did his shorts. Between 1927 and 1928, Disney created a bounty of legendary and rarely seen Oswald cartoons. Now for the first time ever on DVD, we present the premiere collection of Disney's Oswald shorts -- all featuring new scores composed especially for this release. The long-lost rabbit's life story, from his birth to his long-awaited return to Disney, and a documentary on the legendary Ub Iwerks set the stage for the comeback of one of the most important stars in Disney's menagerie. Featuring exclusive introductions by film historian Leonard Maltin, this is a timeless collection from generations past for generations to come. Contains the 13 (out of 26) surviving silent "Oswald" shorts "Trolley Troubles, "Oh Teacher", "Great Guns!", "The Mechanical Cow", "The Ocean Hop", "All Wet", "Rival Romeos", "Bright Lights", "Ozzie of the Mounted", "Oh What a Knight", "Sky Scrappers", "The Fox Chase" and "Tall Timber", the three "Alice" comedies "Alice Gets Stung", "Alice in the Wooly West" and "Alice's Balloon Race", the 1928/29 Walt Disney/Ub Iwerks shorts "Plane Crazy", "Steamboat Willie" and "Skeleton Dance", and the 1999 feature-lenght documentary "The Hand Behind the Mouse: The Ub Iwerks Story" by Leslie Iwerks.

Returns and Refunds:
Unless not stated otherwise in the description the items are new and sealed. Items may be returned within 30 days after receipt for a full refund of the initial payment (item price and delivery charges). Items have to be returned in the same condition they have been received. That means that new and sealed DVDs, Blu-Rays, CDs or other media can only be returned as long as they are still sealed. By breaking the seal on those items the unconditional right to return them and to cancel a purchase expires. Unless not agreed otherwise the buyer has to cover return postage and is responsible for choosing an appropriate shipping method. When an item is faulty it can be returned for an exchange and the return delivery cost will be refunded through eBay Payments. When an item is not as described (objectionable inaccuracies being limited to region coding, available languages and subtitles) it can be returned for a full refund including return delivery cost. Please note that incompatibility with the equipment (e.g. wrong region or buyer ordered a Blu-Ray instead of a DVD) does not qualify as deficiency.
