These compact laser-cut switch boxes are ideal for model railway layouts, dioramas, control panels, electronics projects and demonstrations.

Designed to accommodate switches and corresponding indicator LEDs, they provide a neat and professional way to control points, signals, accessories and other layout functions without the need for a large control panel.

Designed for 8 double-pole switches with corresponding 3mm LEDs, making it ideal for point, signal and accessory control.

10-WAY VERSION

The 10-way version provides space for 10 switches and corresponding indicator LEDs, giving you additional control capacity while retaining the same compact design.

SWITCH HOLE OPTIONS

The standard hole pitch is 15mm.

The 8-way version is also available with a blank front face or with 8 × 6mm pre-cut holes, suitable for mini toggle switches.

The holes can also be drilled out to a larger diameter if required.


CONSTRUCTION & ASSEMBLY

Each switch box is precision laser cut from 3mm MDF. The accurately cut components press together to make assembly straightforward, although we recommend using PVA or a similar wood adhesive for a permanent assembly.

The removable rear panel provides access to the electronics once the unit is assembled and also gives you the opportunity to mount ancillary components where required.

Two 4mm mounting holes are provided for securing the completed unit to your layout, control surface or project.


PLEASE NOTE

The stock item shown in the photographs is not glued together. This is supplied as a self-assembly kit. PVA or similar wood glue is required and is not included.
