3.5mm Stereo Jack Plug / Socket To CAT Adaptors For IR Cable Extension KA175
These make extending the distance between an IRBKIT or an IR Commander Matrix and the IR receiver (or IR emitter wand) very easy. We recommend that if you want to extend more than about twelve metres simply run a length of networking cable (Cat5e or Cat6 works best) and use our KA175 adaptors to connect it all together.
Supplied as a pack of two adaptors to give you one for each end of your network cable. One adaptor has a jack socket on the end to connect to the captive cable on an IR receiver, and the other has a jack plug to go into the IRBKIT or IR Commander Matrix.
These will work with CAT5E cable up to approx 100m. Length: roughly 25cm per cable
