Tu-22 (for NATO classification - Beauty (1961-1962), Blinder (from 1962)) - Radian long-range supersonic strategic bomber designed by Tupolev Design Bureau, intended to replace the Tu-16 bomber.

At the Viyskovo-povіtryany forces of the SRSR, the mav was awarded "Shilo" (for the shape of the fuselage), and "Ludozher" (for the high accident rate).
