This classic drama is based on Harper Lee's bestselling novel which takes in Macon County. Gregory Peck stars as a lawyer dealing with prejudice that railroads his African American client who is accused of raping a white woman, this is implied, but never said. The main story and the side stories are see though the eyes of of Peck's character's children. This is a deeply touching movie. One you will never forget. You may think the story line is a bit adult for children, but I have watched this since I was young and I did not fully understand what was being implied until I was older. The bigger part of this story is the relationship the siblings have with each other and their father. Robert Duvall made his screen debut in this film as Boo Radley.
