Adorable old chld's tea set in the original box. Set includes teapot and lid, sugar bowl and lid, creamer, three cups and three saucers. Vivid pink flower and green leaf design on white china body, painted overglaze. Quality of the china is not the best, as was the case in early Japanese toys. Box has a cute design of elephants, tigers, clowns, lions with a sweet graphic of a little girl hosting a tea party for her doll and bear. The box measures 9x6 1/2x2 but it's very well used, with some side flaps missing on the lid and the Made in Japan label on the side also worn. Side label reads Nagoya Toy Tea Set.
