These Seals will last you longer than the inferior NBR material for a fraction of the price of the whole unit

 

Symptoms related to Vanos Unit Failing Seals:

o      Loss of torque and power especially in the lower and          middle RPM range

o      Uneven power and rpm distribution

o      Louder and uneven idle

o      Difficult takeoffs

o      Increased fuel consumption

 

If your BMW Engine is showing the symptoms above, it could be related to the dry old seals in the Vanos unit Piston.

 

The Original BMW seals are made of NBR (BUNA) material, which often fail quickly.

Our seals are made of more expensive FKM/Viton®  which withstand higher temperatures and have a much longer life.
