Sterling Silver tarnishes on prolonged exposure to air and water. It should be kept away from chemicals like hairspray & perfumes. It should be stored in Ziploc bags or cloth pouches. Occasionally clean the vermeil lightly with a soft cotton cloth or cotton ball. Do not use abrasive cleaners or liquid cleaners.
