UV8000E is the upgrade from our Previous Generation TYT TH-UV8000D. Comes with 2 high gain antennas, you would gain an excellent audio/signal during transmission and reception, it would be a great choice for any ham.

NOTE: To fully utilize all the features you have to use Windows PC to program this radio. The software can only work with WIN XP/ 7/ 10 system. Not Compatible with CHIRP.

  • Q1: How to active the VFO function?
  • A: Turn on UV8000E with the PTT and button "1" pressed simultaneously. Then the VFO function would be set to perform normally.
  • Q2: Can I activate the cross-band repeater on the keyboard?
  • A: Yes, for activating and properly use this function, please set up the frequency step.
  • Q3: Is it normal that my UV8000E overheats?
  • A: When you use cross-band repeater in 10W, the UV8000E do heats up.
