At Santa's workshop at the North Pole, Santa Claus is meeting with some of his Christmas helpers: fairies that help him keep track of all of the children on the "Naughty and nice" list. Shaily will be working on the list for the first time and goes to check on the first girl on her list, Leah Carpenter.

Leah has just moved to a new town days before Christmas and wants to make some new friends. Although Shaily has been warned that it is against the rules to talk to anyone on her naughty and nice list, she can't help herself as she sees that Leah is lonely.
