"Amazing torch and well made ultra light headband, don't know
you are wearing it" PM - purchased on 20/7/20
Skylite headtorch headband
Headtorches are heavy – the Skylite headband is my innovative, flexible,
hyperlight fix!
At just 2g the elasticated adjustable headband has a grip sleeve into
which you can insert a small torch and wear side mounted on your head. Nothing comes
close to the weight, yet you get the full convenience of a headtorch – no more slobbering
on that torch in your mouth!
Unlike most UL headtorches, the skylite isn’t lightweight by being
dim: Put a TIKI LE module and for 12g you have a 300lumen, USB rechargeable weatherproof
headtorch with the option of red blue strobe lighting for enhanced visibility. This
is my go-to headtorch for everything from the Pennine Way to the continental divide
trail.
Headband only, pictured light module not included: add one for extra
below
+ separately available Nitecore tiki LE – utterly awesome space age beast, the
one I use!10g
The headband is supplied with extra elastic which should be tied to
an appropriate length, trimmed and the end carefully singed. Make sure it is not
too loose or too tight. We recommend using this over a buff, hat or hood.
With the elastic trimmed to length it typically weighs 2g. with the
surplus elastic untrimmed it is normal for it to weigh more. Micro USB cable not
included, but you’ve probably got a dozen of them anyway :)

About Wild Sky Gear
Wild Sky Gear was started by Skye McGregor, a British
15 year old who hiked Lands’ End to John O'Groats solo. I hiked through the winter
and to keep my pack light started making my own gear and then sold some of the surplus.
This turned out to be a bit more successful than I had anticipated, and now I’m
constantly sewing.
PS: I really appreciate feedback on my items and service. Please let me know how everything is - I love hearing about how you're using my gear and the adventures you're going on :)
