A very nice example of the less common magenta 50 Pfennig Dienstmarke (Official) issue from the People's Republic (Volksstaat) of Württemberg in the south-west of Germany issued in 1919. The design is the previous denomination in rhombus layout, but with "Volksstaat Württemberg" overprinted in black Gothic script across the top and bottom of the stamp.

In mint never hinged condition, catalogued in the Michel specialist volume at EUR 45,-. This item will be sent in standard delivery in a card-backed envelope.
